Collar & Ribs

(一)What are collar and rib?
01-collar
“Collar” refers to the neckline of a garment, i.e. the collar part of a garment, usually located on the upper part of the garment. It can be part of a shirt, jacket, sweater, dress, or other garment. Collars can come in a variety of designs and shapes, including crew necks, v-necks, square necks, turtlenecks, etc., each of which gives the garment a different look and style.
01-rib
“Rib” refers to the texture or pattern created in a garment or fabric, usually by a specific weaving method. This type of weaving creates raised lines that run vertically along the fabric, resulting in a longitudinal, bumpy texture. This textured design is often used on collars, cuffs, pant waists, etc. to add stretch and comfort to garments.Ribbing is usually made from elastic fibers (e.g., spandex yarn, polyester yarn, etc.) to ensure that the garment hugs the body and provides a better fit.Ribbing designs are commonly used in garments such as shirts, sweaters, socks, and other garments.
